How do I go about getting myself registered as a patient at a dental student hospital for free treatment?

I need quite a lot of work done but despite working full-time can't afford to see my own dentist, I've been told that if I registered with a NHS school of dentistry I could get it all done for free by dental students.

How do I go about getting myself registered as a patient at a dental student hospital for free treatment?
go to the dental teaching hospital like St THomas's in London or call them for advice on how to go about it.
Reply:Look up their number and call them and ask.
Reply:ASK SOMEONE WHO LIVES WHERE THEY HAVE THE NHS IN PLACE. YOUR POST IS ALSO READ IN THE USA WHERE THERE IS NO NHS.
Reply:Then call NHS and ask them what you need to do.
Reply:All you need to do is call the school and find out what you need to do to be placed on the patient list.
Reply:I dont have a clue what NHS means, but I can tell you how the dental school in my state works.

You have to apply for services with them, and be accepted. They tell you on their website that they do not accept all patients who apply. They also tell you that their services are not free, although they are lower than at a regular office. You have to be able to make multiple trips and do those visits when it is convenient for them. They dont work around your schedule, you work around theirs.

Here is a link to Baylor dental college in Dallas texas.

Perhaps all dental schools do things a bit differently, however Baylor is one of the top dental schools in the country, so I am sure they do things somewhat like them.
