How old are you? You get free dental care until you are 16 or until you leave school. After that you have to pay
Do i get free dental care if my parents get tax credits? UK?
If you are under 16 or under 19 and in full time education then you get free dental care. If you are older then it depends on your personal circumstances.
But your parents receiving tax credits has nothing to do with your free dental care.
Reply:not enough info given to answer...we do not know your age.
Reply:only if ur at univeristy/college, but if ur not and working then u have to pay.
Reply:You only get free dental care if you are under 16 or under 19 if you are full time student. Also if you are pregnant you are entitled to free dental care.
Your parents won't be getting tax credit for you, it's for them!!!
As you're 22, sounds like you will need to pay for it.
Reply:If you are a Student i imagine it will be free best thing is for one of your parents to phone the dentist that they use and the receptionist will be able to tell them
Reply:you can get an HC1 form from your ocal pharmacy which may allow you some help with health costs.
You would not be entitled to free dental care due to your parents tax credits as this is for them only.
Reply:if you are in full time education (16-19), further education or unemployed then you are able to have free dental treatment.
Reply:No you cant, if you were under 16 then you'd be eligible, but as your 22 you have to pay your own way even though your a student, only students 18 and under and in full time education receive free treatment.
