Free dental treatment??

hi i am 19 and a full time student, i was wondering if there was anywhere i could get free dentail treatment in london. i have a massive hole in my tooth and the pain is killing me!!

Free dental treatment??
If the pain is really bad you could ring NHS Direct on 0845 4647 and they will put you in touch with an emergency dentist.
Reply:Go to an NHS practice %26amp; bring proof your in full time education. Also check the phone book for places near you.
Reply:I'm afraid no one between the ages of 19-60 is entitled to free dental treatment unless they are on benefits of some kind or pregnant. Students have to pay for dental treatment, prescription charges etc. For some reason they seem to think they are exempt.

You will have to pay up whether you attend a regular dentist or an emergency clinic. I work next to an NHS out of hours dental service and it's overwhelmed by idiots who wait until the weekend to get treatment because they think it'll be free then cause a fuss when they find out it isn't.
Reply:Sadly no, even though your in full time education you still have to pay the nhs charges.

Check up will cost you £15.90, and fillings will cost you £43.00.

If you cant afford the fee's try getting in contact with one of the large dental hospitals like Guys/Kings, this is a training hospital and they may be able to see you there!

Good luck
