Sorry, can't help you. I don't believe in a welfare state. No one deserves a free ride. If you're indigent, for whatever reason it's YOUR FAULT! There are plenty of jobs out there and there is no excuse for not having one of them.





Freebies should be in the pervue of churches and other charitable organizations not supported by taxpayers. Get religion and get your teeth fixed!

Some people who cannot afford health care should be given free or subsidized care because the cost of preventing health problems is much cheaper than the cost of curing health problems. If the government focuses on preventative care for those who cannot afford it on their own, the entire health care industry will be reformed and will operate More efficiently. It has been reported that every $1 spend on preventative care saves $4 or curative care. If the government made this investment, a great deal of money would be saved in the long run.
Reply:Americans in certain financial status need to have free health and dental insurance to prevent future medical problems. Upkeep is the key.. if we don't prevent, then these individuals end up on welfare and then society is helping to pay for their upkeep which with upkeep they could have avoided many of the illnesses in their future. Let's prevent it before it gets to that point. Arkansas has a great insurance plan for family's that are below a certain financial status. They provide the insurance for the children of these families.. There is two plans A and B.. the A is free for the very low income families and the B plan is basically for low income families that have to pay a small visitation fee and medication fee. When I was taking Social Problems we discussed the insurance issue and almost everyone agreed that if we can provide checkups and help to those who can't afford it then it would help our society out in the long wrong because it cost less to do check ups than it does to take care of the different illness'.


Check into different medical and dental insurance plans in other countries like , Canada..Switzerland.. where I believe in this country it is mandatory that everyone has insurance.. just like we do for our vehicles. Hope this helps.. Good luck with your thesis..
