Dental care for seniors can be a costly expense. Most seniors cannot afford dental insurance and suffer because of it. By joining a dental plan seniors, 62 and over, can get affordable, discount dental care services from quality providers as low as $6.00/month. Additional resources for low cost or free dental care can be found on the links below
Where can a senior citizen get free or low cost dental work?
They can get certain dental insurance plans and use those at supporting dentists.
Reply:Depending on where (what state) you live, consider:
-community health centers as they often have dental clinics
-dental schools
Things to consider:
Many states offer dental care to folks who qualify for medicaid. Many clinics, including dental schools, offer a sliding scale for their fees.
Check out this website to find a community health center near you: http://ask.hrsa.gov/pc/
NOTE:
Even if they do not list dental, call the closet center and ask about dental care. I looked at states I know about and not all the information was there, so don't assume dental care isn't provided.
Reply:You should check with your local social work agency. They often have agencies that are geriatric related. Here in Michigan, for example, we have an agency called the Area agency for Aging and they supply a bunch of information on low cost services for the elderly. Good Luck!
Reply:Take a look at what I can offer, for one person it's only $11.95 a month. go to www.mybenefitsplus.com/bigsavings you could also save on vision, prescription and chiropractic.
