Is it true that women are entitled to free dental care when pregnant in the U.S.?

I just read an article about it but it may only be in Europe...

Is it true that women are entitled to free dental care when pregnant in the U.S.?
not in the us we dont get anything for free
Reply:Baloney, my friend. I know lots of women use Medicaid with is free health care so I'm sure if they could qualify (low enough income) they could sign up for free dental care, but not most people. Would be a nice perk though, we don't have any pregnancy perks here in the US like many (or all...) European countries.

;-)
Reply:We have a medi-caid system that depends on your income what they cover - if anything at all. Nobody is entitled to care just because they are pregnant. However, if they are poverty level they can get those services paid for. If they are middle class and higher, they are probably going to have to depend on paying for services on their own or by using insurance.
Reply:I have never heard tat but it is very common to have dental issues i spent so much money with my dentist the first 5 months of my prregnancy im sure i paid for the addition on his house. good luck!
Reply:I never heard of it being free before in the US, but it would be nice.
Reply:when you have medicaid (government assistance)...free dental care is only in Europe
Reply:no, dental care is not a "right" it is something that you can pay for. also in case it's not affordable to you, my sister is in dental hygiene school and you can get your teeth cleaned for only $30 and you'll be seen by a dentist too which is much more affordable than actually going to the dentist.
Reply:you cant have dental done if your preg anyways so mabey it is free but the only reason cause you cant use it lol
